LIFE STYLE 1: Flowers & Fashion

Since the creation of this blog, the articles covered only the bouquets and other floral arrangements for decorations or presents. LIFE STYLE series aims to show that flowers are confined not only to these two vocations. Art, gastronomy, architecture ... The flowers can be extended to all areas of life.

In the first article of this series, I chose to talk about sewing and fashion! Indeed, in recent years, the floral artists have addressed the world of fashion and consist of pieces of art made from flowers. They found in plants ephemeral, an aesthetic inclination or seek to convey a green message. Their work is amazing. I let you discover their creations below:

These creations were made by Arthur Williams. He leads a real pursuit of perfection and finds inspiration in tribal cultures and the need to embellish humanity. He chose his flowers bold patterns and their ability to keep without water for several hours.
Arthur Williams is a performance artist. He discribes is work as a "structure versus chaos. That makes it harder in an official judging scenario. I may translate something differently than anyone else."

These creations were realized by Nicole Dextras. She has directed several projects, the latest being A Dressing The Future. She said about her work: "dressing the Future project, which dresses the survivors of a dystopian future in plant-based garments that epitomize the resourcefulness of future creatives in the face of material shortages".
She is described as "an award-winning environmental artist". She creates her works from flowers but also fruits and other natural element.
